Election Commission

Section 4.13 of the City Charter

Purpose

The Election Commission shall appoint a Board of Election inspectors for each precinct, and shall have charge of all matters relating to the elections and duties required by statute or City Charter relating to the conduct of all election personnel [which] shall be determined in advance by the City Council.  The Election Commission also tests election equipment, recommends the approval of precinct boundary lines, and polling locations.
