Purpose
To promote outstanding recreational programs for the citizens of the City.
In pursuit of its objective to provide outstanding recreational opportunities for the City, the Advisory Board shall serve as:
A forum for the careful consideration of policy matters related to the operation of the recreation and parks programs;
A voice for the divisions in the community and a voice for the community in the divisions;
An advisory to the supervisors when requested; and
A recommending body to the city council on matters of general policy
