Purpose
The Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) is an appointed body that has several unique duties relating to the Zoning Ordinance: The ZBA is tasked with: 1) Hearing and deciding upon requests for non-use (dimensional) variances from the strict application of the Zoning Ordinance; 2) Hearing and acting upon appeals of administrative decisions made in implementing the Zoning Ordinance; and 3) Interpreting the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance, as needed. Meetings are held once a month.
