Emily Rohrbach
Councilor Emily Rohrbach was elected in 2019 and is serving her first term on city council. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Harding University in Music Education and a Masters Degree from Oakland University in HR Training and Development. Ms Rohrbach’s professional background is in non-profit fundraising, communications and community engagement and she serves on the board of directors for the environmental non-profits ReLeaf Michigan and the Clinton River Watershed Council. She is currently the Vice President of Account Leadership at the Guerrilla Politic.

Personal Life
Emily has lived in Madison Heights since 2004 with her husband, Dr. Dale Rohrbach and their three children; Sadie, Eric and Evan. Her top priority for the city is ensuring a greener future. This includes planting more trees in neighborhoods and in public spaces, restoring our urban tree canopy, improving our parks, planting pollinator-friendly gardens and developing our green infrastructure. Emily hopes to create opportunities for more community engagement and better quality of life programs for our residents at our library, active adult center and special events.
