Purpose
The Planning Commission is an appointed body that is tasked with guiding the City’s growth, economic vitality, and land use patterns. The Planning Commission is responsible for developing and updating the City’s Master Plan and planning-related policy documents, as well as reviewing various types of planning and zoning-related applications such as special land use permits, zoning map and text amendments, and site plan applications. The Planning Commission makes recommendations to City Council on certain planning/zoning applications. Meetings are held once a month.

9 Members: 5 resident members; 1 ZBA Representative, 1 Council Representative, 2 Ex-Officio Voting Members (Mayor & City Manager)
